A waterborne two-component, epoxy system, available clear and colors, that is
formulated to coat interior concrete with a chemical and abrasion resistant tough film that is low in odor and easy to apply
and clean up. These high gloss finishes are available in a variety of ready-mix colors and clear, that provide superior
resistance to abrasion, foot traffic, forklifts, marring, scuffing, and chemicals including oil, grease, hydraulic fluid, many
solvents and moderate acids and alkalis. Ideal for use in warehouses, parking decks, factories, aircraft hangars, service
stations, and other applications where a heavy-duty coating is required.
This coating can be applied on concrete floors in facilities such as hospitals,
schools, nursing homes, commercial buildings or industrial plants, where the presence of solvent odors and flammability
would normally prohibit the application of a coating and sealer. Its versatility and ease of application make it usable on
almost any concrete or other hard surface. Also suitable on wood, steel & other surfaces.
- Dries to high gloss and stays glossy.
- Has minimal odor.
- Low VOC´s.
- Cuts installation time - no need to wait for concrete to completely dry. Can be applied to new concrete
aged a minimum of two weeks.
- Simple to use: Components are pre-measured, just mix and apply.
- Reduces floor prep costs: Can be applied with minimum preparation and minimum cleaning.
- Cleans up with soap and water.
- Provides a tough, coating that protects against dust, dirt, water, acid and alkali cleaners, alcohol, Skydrol,
even brake fluid.
Open to light traffic within 12 - 24 hours.
Full Cure after 5 - 7 days.
Recoat within 4 - 6 hours
Pot Life is 2 hours
NOTE: All dry/cure times are based on 75°F at 50% humidity. Individual dry times
may vary depending upon conditions. Not recommended for application where indoor relative humidity is over 80%.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Apply two thin coats, rather than one thick one.
All surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free from dirt, grease,
oil, chalk, efflorescence, curing and sealing compounds, soap residue and any other foreign matter. New concrete
surfaces should age at least 14 days before being coated. Old concrete that is unsound including flaking or spalling
must be removed to a solid substrate. Make any needed repairs then clean the surface thoroughly using On Guard
or our Degreaser No. 770. Use a broom or brush to get into valleys and grooves. Rinse completely with clean water
and allow to dry. Concrete that is smooth troweled or suspected of treatment with chemical "de-icers" should be
etched with dilute muriatic acid and rinsed thoroughly with clean water to promote bonding. Allow surface to dry
before applying coating. This product may be applied after cleaning while the surface is still damp to the touch,
but not wet.
NOTE: Do not apply if floor temperature is below 50°F or over 90°F.
